Traytin

So here is another portrait....Its supposed to be my little bro Traytin...it sort of resembles him :D next time i draw him i have faith it will look even more like him since practice makes perfect
i also tried painting this picture but its not finished yet..or at least, im not happy with it yet so yeah i may post the painting at some later date.

p.s. I just want you all to know that when i critique my art on here it is not because i have an inferiority complex  or that i'm begging for compliments but...just tell me that its good okay!!! Pleeeeeeaase say that my drawing doesnt suck!!! 
lol just joking! :D no no its just that i'm going to be posting lots of portrait sketches. I will say this for them, they all look like a person! You can tell that they are a human being but they don't always look like the person they are supposed to look like. And i'm working on getting it so that they do look exactly like the person they're supposed to look like. So if you see a mistake that keeps getting made or if you notice anything that looks extremely off in the sketch feel free to tell me and i shall try and avoid it on the next drawing. :) 
The reason i'm doing all this practice on portraits is because i want to learn how to paint people, but i figure i first should get really good at drawing them....and well its also because people are so interesting to draw:)

Floating through the sky

here are some sketchy sketches that i idly drew while vaguely occupied with other things....
everything that floats up into the beautiful sky is quite enchanting to me...bubbles and balloons and dandelion fluff
even if something like...a sofa, started floating i would sit there and stare with happy and wondering eyes:D
everything that is, except things that splat and cause unpleasantness :)

My life

This was a art project for school...I was supposed to illustrate the stories of my life inside the letters of my name. It was a good assignment cause when i looked over my life,looked at my childhood and how i got to where i am now i realized that God has blessed me so much!i realized i take it for granted...For i know a happy and carefree childhood is quite rare....I am so blessed.
I wasnt able to put as many memories in as i wished to...Some are just a little to hard to draw i guess...:D and there was only so much room...and i could hardly draw all the peoples faces who've been part of my life as much as i wanted to...
anyway twas a fun assignment

this is a quick sketch i did today... its been to long since iv posted a drawing...
i stumbled upon this pic and could not resist trying my hand at drawing it...anything i find beautiful or cute or awesome i Have to recreate. Not sure why, but thats how it is...
wish i knew who the original artist was cause i have a feeling id like other art pieces of theirs...
anyway i wish i was posting more regularly but lately iv been inspired to paint. And paintings always take much longer than drawings...I'm working on two paintings right now so hopefully il finish them soon!

Self-portait

the first drawing is a *coff* self-portrait i drew when i was 12 or 13 and the second portait is one i drew for school just the other day!its kinda hard to tell them apart but...the new one is at least a little better to show the progress made through the years...heh heh!:) when i found the old portrait i laughed muchly:)  so yeah in a few years from now i probably will look back on this new portrait and laugh once more...or at least i hope i will cause i do want to keep on learning and getting better at drawing and art in general!so yeah anyway...im sorry both these portaits are quite sober and calm...im not usually that way:D but yeah aanyway you all have a delightful day! x0x0

While we sing

yet another picture made for school...i was surprised that colouring with pencil crayons actually worked as well as it did...i had many doubts! i just like using paints better but yeah anyway it was okay:)

When i heard this song it hit me hard that while people are crying out for help i sit in my happy little life and sing...yes they may be songs of praise to God ,which is all good, but he is calling me to help his lost lambs.And just a song won't heal. How can i just sit and sing while the hungry roam the streets,wounded and bleeding, yearning for something more!How can i sit in my little comfortable circle and do nothing...how can i not be screaming it out for the world to hear that the Jesus i serve is the wonderful-est best-est friend ever and that he'll be their friend to! God has given me so much and i needa share it with everyone! i need to arise and go and tell them of His incredible love! So my resolve is to stop being so selfish, to give of myself,to follow His call wherever He leads as scary as it may be. And with this resolve comes a great peace and happiness! i can't wait to shake myself from the dust and go:) Thank you Jesus for your great love and patience!!

The real secret of success
Most people spend their life working in a job they don't like, for a boss they don't respect, with people they don't get along with, to make money to buys stuff they don't even need. And if they endure this lifestyle long enough, we call them a success.
 Jesus called John the Baptist the greatest man to ever live. And what was his life philosophy? "He (Jesus) must become greater and greater, and i must become less and less" (John 3:30). He wanted to become less and less visible as Jesus took over more and more of his life. And Jesus called him the greatest man who ever lived.

 The way to achieve true inner harmony and happiness isn't by earning a mountain of cash, or impressing hordes of fans or even seeing your name in lights. True harmony, happiness and peace come from knowing your sins are forgiven and that you are accepted by God, despite the mistakes and wrongs you've done in the past.
 Then you can move on to the following, serving and honoring the God you loves you by letting go of the things of this life and clinging to the hope of the life to come; by being faithful to him, putting him first and trusting him for eternal results.
 In the book of Ecclesiastes, Solomon explores the mysteries and meaning of life. He concludes that without God at the heart of the matter, life is meaningless. Four thoughts echo throughout the book:

• Obey God, for this is the duty of every person
• Enjoy life, even though it is brief and filled with uncertainty
• Work hard, though it sometimes seems tiring and useless
• Be content, because wealth will never bring happiness

In God's eyes, a successful life is one of obedience, enjoyment, integrity and contentment. Build your life on those four pillars and, even though no one else may notice, God will call you a success.
